How to Remove Coffee Stains from Clothes: A Simple and Effective Step-by-Step

1. Act fast that’s the first step The longer the stain sits on the fabric, the harder it becomes to remove. So: Grab a clean cloth or paper towel. Gently blot to absorb the excess coffee. Avoid rubbing, as this can spread the stain.

2. Rinse with cold water Next, take the item to the tap: Turn the garment inside out.Let cold water run over the stained area for 30 to 60 seconds. This helps push the coffee out of the fabric fibres.

3. Apply mild soap or dish detergent This step is simple but very effective: Apply a small amount of mild soap or clear dishwashing liquid directly to the stain. Gently rub it in using your fingers or a soft brush. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
